Faith Verse Blog Hop!

Welcome to my blog! Today we kick off the Faith Verse Series that Kari Sanchez is doing on her blog starting September 12th...today I am part of the DT that will be guesting on Kari's blog(PurpleFuntastick Creations) for the Faith Verse Hop, and she is doing a Faith Series that takes place every Monday. I am excited to be a part of this group, to share my favorite verse and story for God. Thanks for stopping by and if you are coming from Lynda(http://Memoriesintyme.blogspot.com) then you are in the right place.

There is a grand prize with Kristal Andrews Faith Stamps and other scrappy prizes to the winner and you have to comment in order to be eligible to and also love to have you as a follower. :))

Here's my verse and story: Psalms 23 verse 6. It reads, Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. I love this verse because of the Promise of goodness and mercy always being around. I have experienced these qualities many times in my life and I love God for providing his Goodness and Mercy!!!

Here's my project: I used my Martha Stewart Scoreboard and scored an 81/2 x 6 card (blue cardstock). I used my very favorite Penny Black Stamp called Out and About, colored\ outlined it with Fiskars glitter pens. Placed it on the right hand side of the card with a 3D Dots by EK Success.I then cut out some tags with my Sizzix Original Die Cutting machine, put them together with a Blue Awning Beaded Flower Brad by K& Company. I then placed the tags in front of my Penny Black stamp so it would be behind it. I wrote Goodness and Mercy with my Calligraphy Pen by Walter Drake. I stamped some swirls from my Nightingale's Song Stamp set by Susan Stringfellow. I used my glue pen on them and spinkled some black flock on them to add some texture. The final step was to add my car stamp. I used my clear block to stamp my image then I outlined it with some gold Stickles. For the inside of the card, I used another stamp from my Nightingale's Song Stamp Set and wrote out the scripture.

Thanks again for checking me out! I'm your last stop! I don't have any blog candy sorrry!  This is the first time I have been in a blog hop! What a rush of excitement!!

May God Bless you Richly!!!---Eileen

This is a Mother's Day Card I made last year. A Stampin' Up Consultant I me  me how to do it. It's just a heart turned upside down and the point side folded down. I used a glue dot to keep it down. I bought some adhesive dots for the middle and some gold string for the handle.
